West Ham vs Newcastle United: The Magpies Feast on a Goal and Destroy The Hammers with a Final Score of 5-1

The Magpies aka Newcastle United won a fantastic victory when they traveled to West Ham headquarters at the London Olympic Stadium with a landslide score of 5-1, this morning on April 6, 2023.

The match was quite tight at the start of the first half, but Newcastle were able to open the scoring through Callum Wilson in the 6th minute through his beautiful heading after receiving a mature pass from Saint-Maximin.

Not long ago, Newcastle scored again through Joelinton who successfully took advantage of F. Schar’s short pass and made the score 2-0.

West Ham did not give up easily and managed to reduce the lag through Kurt Zouma’s goal in the 40th minute after taking advantage of a corner kick from J. Bowen, this made the score 2-1.

However, in the second half, Newcastle showed a better game and were able to score three additional goals.

Callum Wilson scored his second goal in the 48th minute after latching on to a through ball from J. Murphy.

Meanwhile, Alexander Isak scored in the 82nd minute after West Ham keeper Fabianski got out of position and left his net empty.

Newcastle United’s fifth goal was scored by Joelinton in the 90th minute after a solo run and fired a hard shot into the corner of West Ham’s goal which goalkeeper Fabianski could not anticipate.

With this victory, Newcastle United managed to collect a total of 53 points and occupy third place in the English Premiere League standings, with points tied with Manchester United in fourth place.

In that match, Newcastle United did appear very impressive with their sharp and fast attacks.

This can be seen from the goals they scored from several different players.

Apart from Callum Wilson who scored two goals, Joelinton, Alexander Isak and J. Murphy also managed to get their names on the scoreboard.

With competition getting tougher at the top of the Premier League table, every win is very important for the teams fighting for the top spot.
